We found this sweet costume for Abby off eBay. It was a MUST that as soon as it came in the mail I put it on her. I think she likes being a strawberry :-)But when my mom came to visit a few weekends ago, we thought it necessary to "pose" her properly in this cute outfit! Most of them are the same pose, just with Abby's different expressions.
Now tell me, have you ever seen a cuter strawberry in your life?!? :-)
Happy Halloween ya'll!!

Bundled up!
I can actually say this is the coldest it's been in Abby's whole life! Considering she was born in summer time weather, she hasn't quite experienced anything like this yet. We love sitting out on our backyard swing, but with the wind we've been having I worry about her getting too cold. I bundled her up, including a hat, and I don't think she totally loved that :-) All the hats she had were those newborn ones you get when they are extra tiny. She never really wore any of them because like I said before, she was born in May! I have this ONE hat that fit her decently, and I just had to get a picture of her in this...it's a bunny hat!Playing in her cute froggy pj's. The 2nd picture looks like, "Please mommy, please!"
Sweet dreams in her favorite corner of the bed!
When my mom came to visit, we went to this place called The Mudpie. It's a painting pottery place. We had Abby's handprint and footprint put on a plate and a picture frame. It's going to be so cute. Abby just stared at the girl painting her hand and foot with somewhat of a smile on her face. Abby didn't try to pull away or anything...she probably thought it felt good!
Her green foot is going to be a Christmas tree :-)
My mom is really silly and poses Abby anywhere with anything and everything. If we're getting ready or went out for a bit, we come home and my mom has about 30 new pictures she's taken! I just got these pictures from my mom...this is when we visited their house a few weekends ago.
While we're playing with Abby, this is what Josh does--he stacks toys! What a talent, huh?!? See the little figurines?
Loving her Excersaucer with her little toad friend, Lilly!
Such a big girl sitting in her chair!
Ready for church, but these days eating our clothes is far more fun!
I'm trying to hold her face against mine to make her look forward at the camera...you can see how well that worked!

The Newest ExxonMobil Employee
Last Thursday, Abby and I drove into downtown to have lunch with Josh. Of course, we had to go visit Daddy in his office. She's a good little worker already...
On a funny little sidenote--we went to this restaurant in downtown called Josephine's. A small Italian place (it was really good!). While we were standing in line to order, this woman in her late 60's, I think, comes over and says, "Momma said she would watch your baby while you go through the line." Josh and I look over (where Momma is just grinning ear to ear at us), and I believe Momma was in her 90's BARELY able to sit up at the table well. We politely say, "Oh that's sweet, but it's OK, thank you." I turn to Josh, where my back would be facing them with huge eyes and trying to contain my laugh because first off we don't even know "Momma" and second "Momma" can't barely take care of herself! It's the thought that counts, right?!?! We actually think "Momma" was Josephine herself because she ended up going back behind the counter later. I should've taken Abby's picture with her!
Finally, here is a short hodge podge video of Miss Abby...

The BARK of a NEW GENERATION!
This past weekend was Louisiana Tech's homecoming so we made the trip back to Ruston to hang out with some friends and tailgate. It was great to see all our old friends from Delta Sig and to introduce Abby to everyone. She also got to meet some other new Tech babies. Abby was fabulous even though she missed her afternoon nap. It probably doesn't hurt that she loves being outside. Amy and Abby called it quits around 5:30 and headed back to Bossier (we don't mess with a sleeping babies schedule). Obviously I went to the game and stayed the entire 60 minutes (more on that later). Here are some pictures of Abby's first La Tech tailgating/Homecoming experience. Maybe I can take her to an actual game next year.
Abby even has Tech blue eyes!
Daddy's Little Bullodg Princess!
Hmm...Wonder if that helmet would fit me?
If you dress your baby girl up in a camoflauge onesie from your alma mater - you might be a REDNECK!

Baby's got her blue jeans on!
WARNING: This is a long post with lots and lots of pictures. Once I get going, I can't be stopped!
Abby's first little pair of blue jeans. Jeans definitely aren't the most comfortable clothing in the world for one her size....more confining, but WAY cute for picture purposes :-)My mom visited a few weekends ago, but I just got ahold of all the pictures we took. When my mom is here, we take double what I would normally take in a week!
Abby's new thing is putting her head way back...she was doing this while we sat down to feed her at the mall. Silly girl...
Starting--
Middle--End--
This big smile tells me she loves to go shopping with us...(that's my girl!)
Josh and I ran to get a movie, and my mom dressed Abby up and posed her. In the end, Abby was just tuckered.
Sandy decided, of course, that she wanted in the pictures, too.
Abby's sweet Sunday outfit.
But eating it might be more fun...
Talking to Daddy...
With Mommy...
Putting lotion on Abby in the morning and at night is so funny. She just grins from ear to ear when I put it on her legs. (I always say she likes to smell like a lady!) Then I rub my hands together to put it on her face, and this is the face she always gives me...
