(Part 1) Our Little Family
Josh is always SO eager to open presents. Usually, because we are ridiculous, we open in the first part of December. This year (because we told eachother we really weren't going to get one another anything--like that ever happens!), we actually stuck it out until Thursday, Dec. 20. We did good because we only got very few things for eachother (mostly we wanted to get things for Abby, and we're saving for our upstairs game room right now!) Basically, no one could ever do wrong if they bought me stuff with Abby on it, and that is just what Josh did. I got a calendar full of my sweet Abby girl! It's AMAZING! Here's some pictures of our own little family Christmas.
Me with my totally awesome calendar!Abby opening presents. She got an animal train, plastic plates (with Disney Princesses on them) a shape sorter, and an outfit that says Daddy Loves Me on it.

(Part 2) The Beasley Family
On Sunday evening and Monday (Christmas Eve) we got to spend time with Josh's family. Josh's brother Micheal, his wife Polly, and their 2 year old daughter, Faith were able to join us. Faith is so super adorable!! She says "yeah" cuter than any person on earth. I would think of things to say just to hear her say yeah.

(Part 3) The Hoefler Family
Christmas morning Abby slept in until after 8:30am! My brother, Brad, his wife Lisa, and their son Peyton came over so we could all open presents together. Peyton had his clown shoes on! He always cracks me up! He is full of vocabulary, so we were constantly asking him questions so I could hear all his new tricks. For instance: What does Santa say? ho ho ho. What does a pig say? He oinks. He says schoooool and hi (long long E sound!) Super cute! Abby had a new trick this day also. She decided she likes to wave. She really flicks her wrist. I love it! Now, she's not at the point where I can say, can you wave bye? But she does it at all the right times....we're about to take her picture and she starts waving, she's eating breakfast and someone looks at her and she waves. It's really so sweet!
My mom is awesome when it comes to presents. She's all about personalization. Take for example the wrapping of our gifts. She found perfect wrapping paper for each person. I had Disney Princesses, Abby had Tinkerbell, Josh had tools for U.M. Army purposes, Brad had Pirates of the Caribbean, Peyton had Cars (the movie), and Lisa had victorian-ish stuff.

Admiring new hair barrettes that say Abby!
She decided to lean back and take a break...
Peyton got a cool ride on lawn mower toy. Obviously some assembly required. He saw the box and wanted to play with it so bad, but Brad and Lisa were going to have to take it back home to Mississippi, and it would be much easier if it stayed in the box. So this is what Peyton decided to do...
My brother and my husband love their sports. Josh is all out Houston Texans, and Brad is all out Dallas Cowboys. All the clothing they got that represented their team they put on to "out do" the other. Josh had on 3 shirts, shorts, and a hat. Brad had on 2 shirts, a jacket, and pants (over pj pants).
After the present opening, we all got dressed. The kiddos took some adorable pictures in front of the tree...their expressions are so funny, I just can't decide on which ones to show. Enjoy many :-)
If you're still reading this blog, you must either be my mom or someone that really loves us! Sorry it was SO incredibly long. I don't know if you can tell, but my family kinda likes to take pictures :-)
Lastly, Abby's official Christmas picture. We hope everyone's Christmas was an amazing time with family and friends!
