VW Bug to an Escalade

Abby has upgraded from her super cute little polka-dot stroller (VW Bug--on a side note: I would love to have one of these. The green ones with daisy hub caps. So cute! I'm a dork..I know!) to ridin' in style in her luxurious, larger stroller (Escalade). Of course, I still love her little stroller, but Josh did a lot of cleaning in the garage yesterday so he had to unload the strollers from the back of my Escape to take things to Goodwill. He got out our big stroller, to which I decided I would see what Abby thought about sitting up like a big girl in it. She totally loved it, but then again, there really hasn't been a time she hasn't loved any stroller. She loves strolling with her mommy :-) Does she look comfortable or what? I brought lunch out to Josh while he was working in the garage. We decided to eat our sandwiches on the backporch, and I just brought Abby out in her bouncer. She definitely enjoyed herself! Then we came inside and played some more. I put this big puppy dog on her tummy, and she curled him up. It was cute! Then I put a Sandy-sized puppy on her, and she loved that one, too :-) Of course, Sandy had to come check everything out and wanted to play with Abby's toys, too.Abby was playing with daddy, and daddy kept putting her up on his knees. She thought this was fun! (although her face doesn't quite show it...she really was smiling--I just couldn't catch it!)She's looking a bit tuckered from her day....so tired as she drinks her bottle.

Our sweet Disney Princess

I've been a Disney fanatic for as long as I can remember. I love everything about those movies. My mom went to Disney World with my sister-in-law, Lisa, and nephew, Peyton back in April. Here is the outfit my mom brought back for Abby. So sweet! She stares at me while I eat breakfast--I think she's getting excited for the day she gets to start eating baby food. The second picture is one of her new things--she likes trying to pull her outfit (these are still her jammies, though) to her mouth. Sandy stares at me while I eat breakfast, too. I have quite the audience!! I like to refer to this one as "flying in her bumbo chair."She really likes this particular "chair" now because when she pulls one of the toys it sings to her. She's pulled the toy by herself about 6 or 7 times. (She's quite talented, y'know!) Her face in the second picture looks like, "Ugh, mom, not another picture!" My other daughter, Sandy, cute as ever :-) Could she be part chihuahua?Abby is really loving her Excersaucer these days. She's SO funny in it! She was laying her head down in it yesterday looking so sweet, but generally we're giving big smiles and squealing as we play! This is the new face we're getting these days...she's loving to suck her bottom lip. Beautiful, huh? ;-)

www.BellaReese.com

OK, so the site in the title isn't up and running yet. But ladies, when it is--be sure to check it out. So.........I'm a random reader of blogs. It's true. I read blogs of people I've never even met before. But good thing I do because my friend sent me a blog address of a girl who she knew who had a baby close to the same age as Abby (got it?). And this girl, her name is Laura, has a daughter named Reese. Reese's aunt makes her some really adorable onesies, and they decided to make a business out of it and sell them. I bought one for Abby, and I just got it in the mail a few days ago. Super cute I tell you! So see, had I not read a random blog, I would've never stumbled across this cute onesie. Apparently, they will be selling more things than just onesies, and they will be selling for boys and girls. There's my shout out for BellaReese :-) Our mornings....I just love mornings with Abby. She's so funny, sweet, playful, and cute! I guess she got sick of me taking pictures because she grabbed the camera string...Here is a video of our mornings....EVERY time I turn on the light in the morning, she sneezes. I'm telling you, she cracks me up! (sorry for my ridiculously crazy, baby talking commentary!)

The Beloved Church Directory Photo

Does this picture crack you up or what?!?! My child looks thrilled :-)I've only put Abby in "Baby Bjorn" type thing (this one is actually "Jeep") one other time. The other day I decided to try it out again. She seemed to enjoy just hanging there. So, a few posts back I put pictures of the super cute stroller with big polka dots on it that I wasn't sure I was going to keep. Well, I kept it. It's just too darn cute to take back ;-) I decided to take it for a test run. I strapped Abby in and off we went. I think she really loves it. She doesn't make a peep, and the weather has been much better in the evening, so she's been in it up to 45min. Truly, I think she likes looking forward and the wind can blow in her face. I'm trying to make this a nightly thing now...we've done it the past 3 nights, and we've seen the same couple all 3 times. They couldn't forget this bright stroller! Last night they said, "She's got it made in there, huh?" She looks SO relaxed..she doesn't even move!

Lastly, here she is talking and squealing it up!

Jump Around, jump around....

Jump up, jump up, and get down! Jump, Jump!! Sorry if you don't know that song...as soon as I typed "jump around", the rest of it just came to me ;-)

Abby has a new toy. She really likes to "stand" these days, and this toy gives her freedom to jump and bounce. Now, she can't quite do it on her own yet, but when I bounce her she gives me a huge smile...so I know she really does like it. It's the jumper that hangs from the door frame. Thanks, Karen, for letting us borrow it!

One picture turned out blurry because she's moving too much, but I still wanted to post it.
I put her name on her back because I have a tendency to forget it. OK, ok--not really! I go to a bible study on Wednesday mornings, and they get so many kids in that they put her name there to remind them. I thought it was cute :-)
Here are some pictures of us playing in the morning. She has on her cute lamb jammies :-)

In other news, Abby had her 4 month check-up on Thursday. It was funny because the Dr. came in and said, "Tell me all the exciting and amazing things she's doing...is she rolling? is she talking? is she listening to you? is she sleeping well at night?" And luckily we were able to say yes to everything! At her 2 month appt., if you remember, I mentioned the Dr. had said she had a bit of a flat head, but now that we're such the tummy sleeper, her head is looking just as it should be. I was glad to hear that. She weighs 14lbs 14oz (68%) and she's 25 1/4 inches long(75%). He said she's looking perfect, and that we should just keep doing what we're doing!

These pictures are at the Dr. office, however, she had NOT had her shots yet! That's why she's still smiling :-) The first morning after these shots had my child knocked out. She went to bed at 8:15pm, and I had to WAKE her up at 9am to feed her. She was on fire when I woke her up, and she ran a few temps. throughout the day--one peaking at 103! Poor baby! She definitely slept better last night, so I was very thankful for that!

One of my favorite things....a VIDEO! The last clip in the video is very dark. On my camera screen it was completley black so I really didn't think it was recording. She just sounds so sweet, so I included it anyway--it's more for hearing purposes and not viewing purposes!
