I never know where to start!

Things that I want to post about:

Our weekend in LA for Tech’s Spring game, our anniversary weekend, Disney on Ice, our trip to Mississippi, my baby girl (the one growing in my tummy) and all other random pictures taken in between.  What will actually get posted tonight are a few of my favorite shots as of recent.IMG_5042IMG_5057

The Egg Hunt

Ok, this picture is me totally looking like a dork, but the point is…Abby and I share the same kind of excitement.  You would’ve thought, with the look on both of our faces, that she just found a diamond ring.  However, it’s simply a big, plastic, bling-bling ring that Abby loves.  It warrants such an excitement kinda face, don’t you agree?IMG_4713Getting her Easter baskets from Mommy and Daddy AND Nana and Pop.  Lucky girl got 2 baskets this year!IMG_4910Coming out to find the first egg… IMG_3748   Yea, her eyes were closed.  Dangit!  IMG_3749

What a beautiful, fun, fun day!!! IMG_3783IMG_3789

Easter

We loved it!  Of course, we had to color some eggs.  This was our first year ever to color eggs.  Abby was a fan!IMG_3725IMG_4809

That night at 5:30pm they had an Easter vigil service.  The children’s choir put on a production.  Our friend Gracie was in it, too.  Abby was excited to see her!  We had to get some family pictures taken since Mom and Dad were there to take them for us!

This one is my fav minus the fact that Abby has to have her arm up.  It happens.IMG_4824 IMG_4828 The birthday kids!  I was born on my daddy’s birthday—April 5th.  So he’s always has the honor to share his birthday with me.  Lucky guy :)IMG_4830IMG_4833The children’s choirIMG_4835IMG_4836

Then we had to get her Easter basket ready when she went to bed that night.IMG_3728Hooray, Easter morning!  I LOVED Abby’s dress this year.  She just looked so sweet in it.  But then again, she’s my child—so I’d probably say that no matter what!

Pre - Easter

Oh how I loved Easter!  It’s always an amazing time of year, but sharing it with Abby this year was just too fun.  Abby is at SUCH a fun age.  She loved, loved, loved hunting eggs.  Josh asked her what happened to Jesus on Easter, and she said “he conquered the grave!”  That is so stinkin’ cute—her favorite song right now is Mighty to Save, so that’s where that comes from.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking from here.  My parents were in town, and I copied over all their pictures before they left.  I only have 498 to go through from their Thursday night to Sunday night visit.  Whoa!

When Nana and Pop arrived, Josh and Abby had been playing at the park.  So Nana hopped out and walked back with them, Pop drove to our house, and then caught on camera Abby running her little heart out to get to him.  It was so cute!IMG_4600

A little random park fun, and the middle picture is Abby watching tv.  She just looks so proper with her hands folded so sweetly.

On Saturday morning, we had an Easter egg hunt at the church.  Saturday could not have been a more beautiful day.  The weather was gorgeous!!

Playing games…

(OK, first I just really love her hair here!  I would’ve never in a million year thought I would have a child with such body in her hair.  I love it!)IMG_4669 IMG_4665  IMG_4672 IMG_4675 IMG_4677

IMG_4685

When there are a lot of people around, Abby stays right close to us.  I just think this is too cute because even though she’s hunting for eggs, she’s still holding Daddy’s finger.IMG_4698Of course, she let’s go because she gets comfortable with the situation.  But right at first she needs that security, and it looks so sweet.

Abby and her friends!

This picture cracks me up.  Abby was looking the wrong way, and her friend Reese was trying to chew a mouth full of candy.  Hilarious!

Abby and Gracie.  On their own they sat like this…

Then we asked them if they could act like they loved each other…so we got this!  Gracie stayed looking at the camera every single time.  I feel like we have a different facial expression from Abby each time, so I had to post all of them!

Wow, I have a ton of pictures left.  I’m takin’ a break now, though.  I still have to post about coloring Easter eggs, the Easter vigil service, and actual Easter!  I’m telling you, this weekend wore me out (in a fun, happy, blessed way!) :)
