Oh how I loved Easter! It’s always an amazing time of year, but sharing it with Abby this year was just too fun. Abby is at SUCH a fun age. She loved, loved, loved hunting eggs. Josh asked her what happened to Jesus on Easter, and she said “he conquered the grave!” That is so stinkin’ cute—her favorite song right now is Mighty to Save, so that’s where that comes from.
I’ll let the pictures do the talking from here. My parents were in town, and I copied over all their pictures before they left. I only have 498 to go through from their Thursday night to Sunday night visit. Whoa!
When Nana and Pop arrived, Josh and Abby had been playing at the park. So Nana hopped out and walked back with them, Pop drove to our house, and then caught on camera Abby running her little heart out to get to him. It was so cute!

A little random park fun, and the middle picture is Abby watching tv. She just looks so proper with her hands folded so sweetly.
On Saturday morning, we had an Easter egg hunt at the church. Saturday could not have been a more beautiful day. The weather was gorgeous!!

My little people watcher.

Playing games…
(OK, first I just really love her hair here! I would’ve never in a million year thought I would have a child with such body in her hair. I love it!)

When there are a lot of people around, Abby stays right close to us. I just think this is too cute because even though she’s hunting for eggs, she’s still holding Daddy’s finger.
Of course, she let’s go because she gets comfortable with the situation. But right at first she needs that security, and it looks so sweet.
Abby and her friends!
Abby and Bella
This picture cracks me up. Abby was looking the wrong way, and her friend Reese was trying to chew a mouth full of candy. Hilarious!
Abby and Gracie. On their own they sat like this…
Then we asked them if they could act like they loved each other…so we got this! Gracie stayed looking at the camera every single time. I feel like we have a different facial expression from Abby each time, so I had to post all of them!

Wow, I have a ton of pictures left. I’m takin’ a break now, though. I still have to post about coloring Easter eggs, the Easter vigil service, and actual Easter! I’m telling you, this weekend wore me out (in a fun, happy, blessed way!) :)
