Wiggle Worm

As I've mentioned in a previous post, Miss Abby is definitely a wiggle worm! She kicks her legs, moves her arms, and squirms like you wouldn't believe. Because I'm ridiculous and keep track, she has rolled from her tummy to back 16 times now :-) These days we've been rolling to our side a lot. So much so that I'm having to roll her back to put her diaper on! The other day we were playing on her playmat, and she was laying on her back, and I attached links that hung down right above her. I put the links in her hand, and she kept ahold of them as she rolled to her side. I got some cute pictures out of it!Then she let go of the links and was trying SO hard to roll over to her tummy. She was pretty much on her tummy, but that arm kept getting stuck underneath her. She struggled with it for a bit, but she was getting frustrated and tired so I picked her up and put her in her crib. Immediately she rolled over to her side and within seconds this is how she ended up.....She really did it! She managed to roll over to her tummy AND move that arm. I pretty much thought it was a fluke, until that night after Josh and I gave her a bath. As I tried to put her diaper on, of course she was rolling over to her side. Then she rolled to her tummy...so I called to Josh and said, "She did it again!" Josh said, roll her back over and see if she'll do it a third time since he wanted to see, too. Sure enough, she did AGAIN! Three times in one day--woohoo! I'm so proud of her :-)

When Abby and I play in her room, Sandy goes and grabs her bone and sits RIGHT outside of Abby's room so she won't miss a thing :-)Abby woke up quite early this morning, and it took me a bit to get her back to sleep. We rocked for awhile and finally off to sleep she fell. Doesn't she look sweet?!?!
