Generally each night I try to get myself in bed by 9pm, and Josh takes the "first shift" until around midnight-12:30am. That was the normal time when he used to go to bed anyway. (I TRY my hardest to let him sleep as much as possible since he actually has to go to work and function! However, there has been many nights when I get him up around 4:45am so I can get at least ONE good hour before I'm by myself for the day.)
Last night we gave Abby a bath around 8:30pm, and she was VERY alert after this. She still didn't eat for about 45min. so we played with her on the playmat, we read her some stories, we watched her funny face--she was working hard on pooping! We got some great laughs out of that. The time came to eat, and I fed her, rocked her a bit and put her in the bouncer for her to get some sleep. At around 9:30pm, I told Josh goodnight and got in the bed.
Later, Josh comes in the bedroom and says, "Hey, can you come take care of her now?" I heard her crying a bit, and I jump up and say, "Sure, what time is it?" Josh says, "3:30am!" I'm in SHOCK! WHAT?!?! He said, "Well, I fed her at the next feeding and she went back to sleep pretty good, so I just took care of it!" Thanks to my wonderful husband, I got SIX hours of sleep last night, and I feel pretty darn good today :-)
Here is a picture after Abby's bath...wide awake and enjoying lounging back on her daddy!
Check out her WILD and CRAZY hair! I can't control it!

What an awesome guy!! I'm so impressed. I let Frankie sleep through the night now, too since I don't have to go to "work." I told him that will end when school starts. With my luck, she'll be sleeping through the night!
That's wonderful.... sleep does exist. What a sweet husband to take on a little extra, so his wife could sleep. I'm glad to hear that things are going better. Miss you!
