This is long over due, as are most of my blogs :) Abby needs to have her very own blog post, so here it is!
- She has the greatest real smile (crinkle nose, sweet eyes) but when she's not really trying, it's terrible. A few months ago, we went through the many pictures of Abby and her fake smile. She's gonna die laughing some day looking at those!
- She has amazing pretend conversations on her cell phone. She even says "I love you" at the end of some of the conversations...that were to boys. Yikes!
- She's very tenderhearted. It started at age 3. She cries at some movies. I find this so interesting and sweet.
- Red Baby remains number 1. I feel like this attachment has been for about a year and half. Red Baby is always with us, and I love watching her hold her and rock her.
- She says some of the funniest things! Don't all kids, I guess? I really should do a better job of writing them down. If she really gets into a conversation, she talks with her hands a lot.
- She is so gentle. She holds Josie's hand, she rubs my arm and my back (I adore that, by the way). She is absolutely so concerned if I'm upset or anything.
- She loves all Disney Princesses and can pretty much name you all the characters from all the Disney Princess movies. She can sing along to most of the songs on the movies, too. (I probably had a part of that considering we listen to Disney songs on the iPod :))
- She looooves school! She asks everyday if it's a school day (but only Mondays and Thursdays are).
- She's almost 4 (in May) and she has still never gotten her hair cut.
- She loves doing worksheets I find, coloring, painting, play doh, and writing.
- She learned all the sounds to her letters by watching The Letter Factory. Honestly, I enjoyed that movie, too. It was so clever...made me laugh!
- Bugs freak that child out! I mean, I understand, because I might have my own freak out moments over some bugs--it just depends on what it is. But a few of those huge mosquitoes got in the house one night and ohmy! When we sit out on the back porch swing, though, she loves seeing butterflies! She gives them names...so far we have Aurora and Prince Phillip flying around in our backyard :)
- She loves playing games on the iPod. She's good at Angry Birds!
- She LOVES going to the park!
- She wants Josie to do everything with her, and seriously jumps up with excitement when we say Josie is taking a bath with her...which is every night! She's definitely a wonderful big sister!!!
- She loves games, and she's darn good at them! She still loves puzzles, too, and when she gets a new puzzle there is no help from us. We like to see if she can figure it out on her own, and she can. Always. Of course we aren't doing huge puzzles...20 something or 30 something pieces, but I love to see her mind work.
- She loves to hold hands when walking. Even with her friends. Even when her friends don't really want to. She loves to play with littler ones too, and guide them by having her hand at their back. She often needs to be reminded to just "let the other kids be!" :)
- She can tend to be a bit bossy...I don't know if it happens as much at school, but she's very particular about things. Although there might be a different way to get things done, she'll tell you which way it needs to be done. She'll ask your opinion and say she's letting you "choose" something, but in the end, she gives you only what she wants you to have. haha
- She can certainly be a piece of work with her little hands on her hips, but we're working on the 'tude. And we're working on "yes ma'am and no ma'am" and I will have you know she said yes ma'am to me today without being prompted! I was so excited :)
- I love when she hugs me around my leg. I love that she loves to dance with me. I love that she wants to cuddle every night before bed. I love that child with everything in me. She is the most wonderful helper, and I could just kiss her little face off :)
Pictures!!! (1 from January and all the rest from February.)Her BEST little friend at school....Cassidy. This was at Cassidy's birthday party at the jump place.
Elijah from school at Cassidy's party. Seriously, she likes to hold everyone's hand!
Noah...
hahahaha! This picture cracks me up!!!! She talks about this little boy allll the time. His name is Tristan, and he has a twin brother, Noah -- pictured up top.
Abby loves to draw...that's our family. There are 5 drawn because, of course, Sandy is included!
